Synopsis

“Las lenguas pequeñas hacen el mundo más grande”. Bajo este lema, las autoras nos cuentan la historia de un pájaro (Mokotxiki=Picochico) que convive con un hipopótamo. Fascinado por el poder y la fuerza del hipopótamo, pretende hablar y comportarse como él, renunciando a su idioma. Hasta que se da cuenta de que él también tiene una lengua propia y hermosa. Recomendado a partir de 4 años.

“Small languages make the world bigger”. Under this motto, the authors tell the story of a bird (Mokotxiki = Picochico) that lives alongside a hippopotamus. The bird, fascinated by the strength and power of his companion, tries to talk with the hippo and to behave like it too. As the bird gives up its own language it realises that the hippo has a beautiful language all of its own. Recommended for children over 4 years old.
